Love the fresh style margaritas! So many tequila options :)!! Great place to meet friends for dinner and drinks!

Fiesta Cafe is my favorite Mexican restaurant around campus. Most people don't know about it as it seems to be a hidden gem. I always get the steak fajitas and it's a great price for how much food you get. The steak could use a little more seasoning, but nothing adding your own salt or sauce can't fix. The complementary chips are great too, I always go through them so quickly and get more. Just a short walk from campus, I'd recommend!

Excellent hard shell tacos. They use 2 shells so extra crunchy. The margaritas are delish

Chips and salsa are always great. As a vegetarian I enjoy their 3 tacos with black beans or their chimichanga (veg) with verde sauce. Great ambiance and always able to seat large parties. Get the fried ice cream for dessert!

Fiesta cafe is a go-to restaurant that is just a good casual place to go with your friends or whoever. I've been several times and have never had a particularly bad experience. It's also open til late compared to a lot of other restaurants (11pm), and the servers are nice without being too much. I usually get the Alex Tacos, what they're known for, which come with a mound of meat on each and these little grilled onion bulbs (I don't know what they're called) that I really love for some reason. Last night, I went for a friend's birthday dinner, and we got blended mango, passion fruit, and strawberry margarita pitchers and shared. They gave us sugar rimmed glasses with a sliced lime; it was a fun time! They also give you free chips and salsa which were gone within the first 5 minutes of us being there, but they refilled them for us :) Half of us got Alex tacos and other half got burritos. The ones that got burritos did comment that there were a lot of beans and not that much meat in them. Will still keep going every once in a while when I want some late night mexican food.

Come here for the tequila list, stay for the food! I appreciate a good tequila, but admit I don't know which one to order! Luckily, our friend did, and we had 3 margaritas made perfectly, and then ordered lunch! I ate the chicken enchiladas, with the salsa verde (not always an option at other restaurants!) so delicious! We all cleaned our plates. I also liked how there were a la carte options to order sides of rice, etc if your meal didn't come with them. My 3 enchiladas did NOT come with rice or beans, and I was glad, my plate was too full anyway!!

Attracted by this place since last year I came to C-U, because of its bright pink color outside. But I only tried it recently. Love this restaurant!! Just as how it looks outside, the restaurant is full with bright colors and tropical decorations; eating there made me feel like traveling in some Mexican city really! Most importantly, I like their large menu and their huuuge portion! This is the place that comforts your stomach! They have the largest free salsa I have ever seen and they give you 4 tortillas instead of three! Up to now I had tacos, fajita and tamale. I really recommend trying their combinations so that you can get lots of food, try different dishes at the same time, and the price is very reasonable. Even better, the stuff knew about the foods well and the service was quick. I will surely have more meals there.

The food was really good. There was a decent wait time and the servers could be more communicative but the ambience is laid back for a causal outting. Good place for larger groups. They are popular for their Alex tacos but I really enjoyed their Al Pastor taco.
